The oldest student-run organization of Bard College at Simon’s Rock, the Llama Ledger moved to an online format in 2001. The student newspaper is published independently on a weekly basis, and the staff is compromised entirely of undergraduate students.
With a readership composed of students, faculty, staff, and alumni, we are a source of news and information both on and off campus. Our weekly coverage includes campus and regional news, delivered with a commitment to truthfulness, accuracy, and pizzazz.
The Llama Ledger strives to cover all campus news and events and to a limited extent, the news and events of the local Berkshire area. In addition, staff writers express opinions in editorial sections and columns, while maintaining valid information and seeking to only print an unbiased truth in news, feature, arts, and sports sections.
The website issues are generally issued Thursday mornings throughout the semester, while time-sensitive articles are published more frequently.
